An open meeting was held at Sumy National Agrarian University with Andrii Kletsov - Head of the Non-profit Organization "Society of Veterinary Business Owners", which is a full member of WVA and FECAVA.
The report highlighted the modern role of a veterinary doctor in the "One Health" system, the principles of sustainable development and digital transformation in the veterinary industry. Special attention was paid to the structure of the Federation of Veterinary Practitioners of Europe (FVE) and the importance of integrating Ukrainian specialists into the Union of European Veterinary Practitioners (UEVP).
Andrii Klietsov emphasized the practical benefits of European integration — from professional development to increasing the trust of pet owners. The topic of the state project on pet identification was raised as an important step towards transparency and responsibility in animal husbandry.
